QUICK REVIEW! The Grumpy Fairy by Elizabeth Dunlap

37717014

Drusinella is a fairy with attitude. Banished from Fairy Land, because she has the nasty habit of turning princes into frogs with no way to change them back, she now has to live without wings as a punishment.
When she receives a surprise invitation to a fairy party Drusinella is overjoyed, but, despite her excitement at being allowed to return home, she soon finds that the Fairy Queen has no intention of giving her wings back.
Miserable and wandering alone, Drusinella is captured by fairy hunters who intend to force her to help them take back their hometown from evil wizards.
A stupid princess, Camria, saves Drusinella from them, which by fairy law means she must grant her deepest wish. It is, of course, the one thing Drusinella hates more than princes: true love.
Now the two go on an adventure to find the prince of Camria’s dreams (who, in all likelihood, has been turned into a frog by Drusinella). But will the sarcastic fairy be able to put aside her dislike of princes for long enough, or is she destined to remain as the rude and grumpy fairy she always was?

Oh my gosh!! I loved this one. This book made me laugh out loud. I even fell from my bed once. It wasn't that funny but still I fell from my damn bed and that says something right?

This book had a perfect sarcastic touch to it. 'The grumpy fairy' can be sorted under the category of a modern fairytale with a quirky touch. It was short and sweet and completely enjoyable. This book sort of reminded me of shrek and Fiona, the ogre world, I mean. I love Shrek, so now you know why I loved this book so much.

Drusinella, is not your regular sweet pretty fairy. Instead she is a grumpy fairy who turned princes into frogs. Yes, you heard me right, she turned princes into frogs, not frogs into princes like the fairytales we all read in our childhood. So this is something different right?

Because of her these not so fairy-like activities, she had been banished from the fairyland and had even lost her wings, making her grumpier than ever.

This book is full of magic, sarcasm and humor. Drusinella is not really the heartless bitch she pretends to be but deep inside she is sweet and loveable. So, all in all this was a short and sweet read and I totally recommend in to all the fairytale lovers out there.

Five Things 'FIVE FEET APART' Taught Us

'Five Feet Apart' is an American Romantic Drama, inspired by a real-life couple Dalton and Katie Prager, who both suffered from cystic fibrosis.

As you all know that I'm not a movie person, I'd choose books anytime over movies but as I am going through 'Reader's Slump' so I decided to watch Netflix and guess what? I found this treasure.

This movie impacted me greatly so I decided to share all my takings with you all. Let's start!
1.Live Big because life don't give us enough chances.

2. Take risks, you never know which moment is your last.

3. Love! Don't be scared of it. Loving won't kill you but not doing it will surely kill a part of you.

4. Take chances! We can die today, we can die tomorrow but we can also make our life worth living.

5. Breathe! Take a deep breath and enjoy your today. We are all on borrowed time. Instead of focusing on making your tomorrow good, make your today even better.

Until next time...Bye!

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.

**Thanks to Hay House for the Review copy** First things first, Deepak Chopra is one of the most efficient non-fiction writers. I've heard great things about his books but as I am not so keen on non-fiction so I haven't read any of them. But guess what! One day I came across a title called Soulmate, written by Deepak Chopra and that too a fiction!! So I knew I had to read this and I just picked up this book.
The thing that attracted me to this book was its cover an…
