BOOK REVIEW: Reminiscences Of A Seeker: Dark Face Of The White World (True Story)

34866611
A series of events catapults Kapil into the fascinating world of Dark Arts and suck him into the quagmire of drama, suspense, greed and betrayal. And just when the trials and tribulations seem to engulf Kapil completely, there emerged from the deepest darkness, a Brilliant Light of his True Master.

Reminiscences of A Seeker tells the true story of an ordinary man plunged into extraordinary circumstances of the Dark World.

Kapil takes you on his unforgettable true journey of the supernatural world of mystics and higher beings, unbelievable miracles and the parallel world of darkness and light, in his spiritual pursuit of seeking the ONE – who would show him the Ultimate Divine.

Reminiscence Of a Seeker is not your everyday read. It is something else with a complete mystical concept. It is unique in it's own way. I don't usually read these sort of books but just for a change I gave it a try and I quite liked it.

Reminiscence of a seeker is more of a fantasy thriller with a mystical twist. Through this book, the author describes the bond of a student and teacher. This is more of a biography and we come to know that there is even a darker side to the people who appear to be as as snow.

Reminiscence of a seeker takes us on a journey of an individual who is in the search of a master to guide him in his spiritual growth. This is the story of a person who finds himself getting sucked into the dark face of the spiritual world and how he discovers his true master. The concept of black magic (tantric work) is also brought into limelight.

I was quite bored in the beginning of the book but when the story began to unfold itself, it became a bit interesting peeking up my curiosity. The plot was gripping but it also became quite creepy at some points with all those tantric and black magic things.

If you want to read something paranormal but not the same old romance and something different, then go ahead and pick up this book. And as I have mentioned above that this book is not everyone's type, so pick this up at your own risk.

Review: Every Time It Rains by Nikita Singh

Love is a dangerous thing. It brings with it great joy, and opens you up to pain. But does one really have the courage to say no and look the other way?

Laila is yet to recover from her painful past. Hurt, and untrusting of love, she is fully immersed in work, her only source of cheer. Her bakery franchise is very popular and she just might be able to go national, if she can pull off that big deal.

Just when things are looking up, along comes JD, an impetuous, free-spirited creature to stir up the calm. He's her exact opposite. Laila s self-destructive, he s life-affirming. She s cautious, he s buoyant. But here s the thing: he makes her feel the very things she wanted to forget. Stirring a familiar passion she longed for but had lost the courage to pursue.
They are irrepressibly drawn to each other but will she ever be able to trust him? Every Time It Rains is the story of every girl who has ever had her heart broken. And fallen in love again.

BOOK REVIEW: BOUND BY VENGEANCE(born in blood mafia chronicles #5 ) BY CORA REILLY

Growl
He’d never had something to himself, never even dared to dream about owning something so precious. He was the unwanted bastard son who’d always had to content himself with the leftovers of others. And now they’d given him what only a few weeks ago had been out of his reach, someone he wasn’t even allowed to admire from afar, one of their most prized possessions. Thrown at his feet because he was who he was because they were certain he would break her. He was her punishment, a fate worse than death, a way to deliver the ultimate punishment to her father who had displeased them so greatly.

Cara
She had always been the good girl. It didn’t protect her.
She didn’t know his real name. People called him Growl to his face and the Bastard behind his back. Both were names he couldn’t possibly have chosen for himself. His eyes were empty, a mirror to throw back her own fear at her. He was a brutal hand of the Las Vegas Camorra.
And now she was at his mercy.

REVIEW: In The Realm Of The Unknown by Girish Shirodkar

1.The Tree of Terror— In the darkness of a stormy night, the unseen dwellers of a gulmohar tree attack a college student and his companion during their stay at a college hostel. Although the student, quite dramatically, escapes the deadly blow of the haunters of the dark, his friend is killed.

2.My Midnight Acquaintance– Upon receiving a phone call from his father, a college student sets out to his village at midnight. While on the way he meets an old man who invites him to his hut. Strangely enough, the student realizes later that he was called not by his father but the same old man, the purpose being very special.

3.The Lord Datta Temple--- Girish and his friend, John, one dark night, set out for a stroll. On the way they notice a deserted house and a well. Curious, they cross the fence and peep into the well. The soul of a priest hovering near the well then possesses John, and pursues Girish with the fury of a mad hound.

Five Things 'FIVE FEET APART' Taught Us

'Five Feet Apart' is an American Romantic Drama, inspired by a real-life couple Dalton and Katie Prager, who both suffered from cystic fibrosis.

As you all know that I'm not a movie person, I'd choose books anytime over movies but as I am going through 'Reader's Slump' so I decided to watch Netflix and guess what? I found this treasure.

This movie impacted me greatly so I decided to share all my takings with you all. Let's start!
1.Live Big because life don't give us enough chances.

2. Take risks, you never know which moment is your last.

3. Love! Don't be scared of it. Loving won't kill you but not doing it will surely kill a part of you.

4. Take chances! We can die today, we can die tomorrow but we can also make our life worth living.

5. Breathe! Take a deep breath and enjoy your today. We are all on borrowed time. Instead of focusing on making your tomorrow good, make your today even better.

Until next time...Bye!

SHAME (RUIN #3) BY RACHEL VAN DYKEN

Everything done in darkness will eventually be brought into the light. I ran, but all it did was keep me one step ahead of my past. I tried to start over; new name, new identity. But you can't change your soul. A fresh start at college was just what I needed. For a while, it worked. I was the party girl, the one who seemed confident, but it was a lie. But the truth? I was the beast. And as much as I wanted redemption, I wasn't fool enough to think I'd ever get it.
Until he walked into my life. I wasn't prepared to fall for someone. My scars were too deep, the wounds too raw. But he offered me peace, he offered me security. I should have known it was just another lie - I should have known that falling in love with my professor was a bad idea. But I was powerless to stop myself from f…
